How much does a real estate video cost in NYC?
In NYC, a real estate listing video runs from about $150 for an animated photo reel to $1,000 for a cinematic video with the agent on camera. Most standard sale listings land between $300 and $700. Price is driven by whether the agent is on camera, the length and number of shots, whether drone is included, and the size of the home.
The short answer
| Video | Price | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Photo Reel Video | $150 | Your listing photos animated with motion and music |
| 3D Walkthrough Video | $195 | A video render pulled from the Matterport scan |
| Listing Walkthrough | $300 | A steady, honest walk through the home, optional voiceover |
| Property Listing Video | $400 | A cinematic property film, no agent on camera |
| Agent Listing Video | $700 | Agent on camera, listing plus personal branding |
| Cinematic Listing Video | $1,000 | Full production, agent on camera, luxury listings |
All prices are for homes 2,000 sq ft or under. Add $25 per additional 1,000 sq ft.
What drives the price
- Agent on camera or not. On-camera videos need lighting, direction, and more edit time. That is the jump from $400 to $700.
- Length and shot count. A 45-second social cut is quicker to shoot and cut than a 2-minute branded film.
- Drone. $250 as an add-on, $299 standalone. Needed for townhouses, waterfront, and anything where the block matters.
- Home size. Over 2,000 sq ft adds $25 per additional 1,000 sq ft, because it is more to shoot and more to edit.
- Turnaround. Standard delivery is 5 business days. A 2 business day rush is a flat $100.
